In this class, youll make two versatile zipper pouchesone classic flat pouch and one gusseted pouchperfect for organizing essentials, traveling, or gifting!

Skill Level: You need to be able to sew a straight line, back tack, sew a zig zag, thread & unjam your machine, and wind your bobbin. If you don’t have any experience with sewing machines, check out our Meet Your Machine class or any of our Absolute Beginner classes first

What You’ll Learn:

• How toinstall a zipper
• Usingbias bindingto finish zipper ends cleanly
• Constructing aflat pouchand agusseted pouch

What’s Included:

• Fabric, thread, and nylon coil zippers for both pouches
• Step-by-step instructions to recreate the pouches at home

Class Fee: The cost of this class is $100. The cost of instruction is $75 and the materials fee (required) is $25 and includes the patterns, fabric, thread, and zippers.

What to Bring:

• Sewing machine with basic accessories (foot pedal, power cord, bobbin, etc.). Bringing your own machine is encouraged, but studio machines are availableplease reach out to [email protected] to reserve one after you register for class. Machines are limited.
• A Zipper Foot! This is the most important thing to remember to bring along. It will be crucial to the sewing process!
• Optional: Any sewing tools you love using!

Cancellation Policy: We require a minimum of 4 students to hold the class (if we’re not able to run this class you’ll be refunded). If you need to cancel within 1 week of the class, you will receive store credit.
